| The False Creek area of Vancouver is an immensely
popular area for both locals and tourists. It extends from the Burrard Bridge
eastwards to the Science World complex near Main Street. |

False Creek is
surrounded by the Sea Wall which winds
around the shoreline. Many popular areas including Granville Island, Yaletown,
Science World, South and North shore parks touch on the Sea Wall. Small
ferries shuttle passengers across False Creek at a nominal fee. |
The Sea Wall offers walking and
jogging space as well as designated cycling and skating lanes. Parts of the
Sea Wall and False Creek shoreline are still under construction, especially
near the South-East end and along the Northern shore East of the Granville
Bridge. |
